Which documents are accepted as proof of residence?

➡️ According to our Terms of Service, our customers must demonstrate residency in France.

For this, we may ask you for a recent proof of residence in your name.

🏠 Accepted proofs of residence:

  • A copy of an electricity, gas, or water bill (from any operator: EDF, ENGIE (formerly GDF), Suez...) dated within the last 3 months.

  • A certificate confirming a contract with an electricity, gas, or water supplier dated within the last 3 months, or a schedule/annual invoice for the current year.

  • A copy of a landline or mobile phone bill dated within the last 3 months.

  • A copy of an internet service provider bill dated within the last 3 months.

  • A home insurance certificate dated within the last 3 months.

  • A copy of the latest income tax assessment notice.

  • A copy of the latest property tax assessment notice.

  • A copy of the latest land tax assessment notice.

  • A rent receipt dated within the last 3 months.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 In case of lodging with a third party:

  • An attestation of lodging dated and signed by the person hosting you, as well as by yourself, dated within the last 3 months.

  • A proof of residence of the person hosting you dated within the last 3 months (refer to the above list of acceptable documents).

  • A copy of the valid ID of the person hosting you.
